Langtang Gosainkunda Helambu Trekking is one of middle level trekking. This trekking require trekking experience and a good physical form. It lies to the north of Kathmandu where dominantly Sherpa and Tamang races have their homes. The trekkers come in contact with temperate forests and alpine pastures, glaciers lakes and snowy peaks which sometimes give the feeling of heaven. Starts with an overland journey to Syabrubesi, the main trading post of the area. From here we spend four days hiking up through this beautiful alpine valley to Kyangjin where we rest for a day for some exploration of the high mountains and glacial systems. The trekking is begin from Syabrubesi about 12 hour drive from Kathmandu, the start part of the trekking goes through a sub-tropical jungle of oak, birch and pine before the valley opens out into alpine meadows and yak pastures. The route to Gosainkunda passes through varied scenery ranging from evergreen forest to sub alpine grasslands where cascading waterfalls and beautiful mountains make an addition to its beauty. After visit the Kyanjing Gompa with its small gompa and cheese factory. This trekking route follows along Langtang River from Sherpa Goan. This trekking covers Langtang valley, the pretty Langtang valleys, Kyanjing Monastery, view of Langtang, Ganesh himal, Lang sisa ri, Yabru himal, Dorje Lakpa, Dokpo, Langup, Morimoto peak. Gosainkund is a very popular and holly lake in Hinduism and Buddhism. The trail downhill to the Syabru village before head to Gosainkudna Lake a holy lake for both Buddhist and Hindu Pilgrimage, the trek cross the Gosainkunda pass and meet the Helambu route from tharepati at the end part when you enter the Helambu valley the area are inhabited by Sherpa and other ethnic groups and you will passes Buddhist Gompas and village with nice terrace before drive back to Kathmandu from Melamchi Bazaar.

Day 11: Trekking to Tharepati (3510m.) 5-6 hours walk and overnight hotel.
